A friend turned me on to this track the other day. For whatever reason, the lead singer’s style conjures up images of a white dude who couldn’t quite make it in rap, but had a good enough voice to front a band who produces some of the greatest instrumentals I’ve ever heard. The hook, in particular, really strikes a chord in me. Get it? Chord? Music? Humor?
