Maybe creating an album with hand claps entirely replacing snare hits was a better idea on paper?

The recent collab between members of Vampire Weekend and Ra Ra Riot, in my humble opinion, was nothing more than just a flash in the pan. I thought it was a little ironic that their album, complete with a cover of the Jackson classic “I Want You Back” was released right around the untimely death of the King of Pop. While that was a decent cover of a beyond decent song, the rest of the album isn’t worthy of me puking my guts out to. Ya dig? Discovery, you’ve been Certified Gold as the Most Disappointing Side Project of 2009!
