Ireland doesn’t seem to have much representation in the industry these days, unless you ask Bono - who might suggest that Ireland is the only country getting any representation these days. Well, Bono, step aside. Because these boys are taking over “with or without you.”

Two Door Cinema Club approaches music much differently than everyone else. They began as a trio sans a drummer. Only recently, after the band recorded their debut LP Tourist History, did they add in live skins, which makes for an even more unique and complete sound. Their combination of 16th note leads and high note vocal lines makes for a sound that echoes that of their “French pop” peers. Since their album dropped in the middle of the year, they have been a strong presence on many music blogs, including this one. Catch them on tour this new year with Tokyo Police Club. They make their Boston stop on January 19th. We’ll be there in person to congratulate the band on being CERTIFIED GOLD as the Best Reason to Love Ireland.
