The Record Crate

I don’t think the music scene has seen such a rapid shift towards anything more so than the winner of this award. Sure there have been a ton of mashup artists ever since Girl Talk exploded and a ton of positive and negative reactions to Lady GaGa, but nothing quite on this magnitude. We at The Record Crate are huge fans of not just a single artist, but the current most popular genre in the game right now.

Blame it oh the WHOMP. This infectious stand of music has gotten the best of us these days. We’ve posted a number of dubstep jams on The Record Crate, most recently Ellie Goulding’s “Your Song.” These days, every song and their mother has a dubstep remix of their song and in some cases, two. Why did it take so long to reach the mainstream? Either way, congratulations dubstep, you are CERTIFIED GOLD the biggest contribution to music since GaGa’s lady parts!c
